About

The mid-market deserves an analyst, not another dashboard.

Power BI, Tableau, Looker — these tools assume you have a data team to build the models and a controller with time to interpret them. Companies between $5M and $500M revenue have neither. They have a CFO, a controller, and a monthly close that takes four days. We built Pariom to be the analyst they don't have the budget to hire.

Why we exist

The category is structurally underserved.

01

Architecture incompatibility

Power BI is built around human-defined semantic models. Refactoring to 'AI defines the model' is a rewrite of a product 25,000 companies depend on. Incumbents can't ship it without breaking what they already have.

02

Pricing model incompatibility

Power BI sells seats. An autonomous analyst has no users in the seat sense — its consumer is a CFO who never logs in. Seat pricing breaks. Incumbents can't adopt a model that cannibalizes their existing revenue.

03

Distribution incompatibility

Tableau and Power BI rely on a $20B implementation partner economy. AI-native tools that install in 30 minutes burn that economy down. The incumbents can't ship something that fires their channel.

The product

What Pariom actually does.

Reads your books dailyConnect QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite via read-only OAuth. Pariom pulls the trial balance every night, computes account-level variance, and flags what changed.
Writes the variance memoHeadline, 2–4 sentence take, three ranked drivers, materials table — with citations to specific account codes and transactions. Board-ready in 90 seconds.
Monitors continuouslySet threshold bands on the metrics that matter. Gross margin. COGS ratios. AR aging. Pariom samples them on your cadence and alerts Slack when something fires.
Answers plain-English questionsAsk the books anything. "Why did margin compress?" "What's driving the CS headcount variance?" Cited answers in under five seconds.
Benchmarks your metricsYour gross margin, OpEx ratio, magic number — against comparable companies in the Pariom cohort. The cohort grows with every close. The percentile is the take.
The company

Small team. Long runway. Deliberate pace.

Pariom is bootstrapped. Built by a solo developer who has spent years watching mid-market finance teams produce variance write-ups manually, every close cycle.

The product is live and looking for its first users. If you run books for a $5M–$500M company and want to be the person who shapes what this becomes, reach out.
