Terms of Service

1. The service

Pariom is a financial analysis tool that generates variance memos from trial balance data. The Service is intended for use by finance professionals, controllers, CFOs, and accounting firms.

The Service is provided "as is." Memo output is generated by AI and is intended to assist human review — not replace it. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all generated content before sharing it with stakeholders or using it for decision-making.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at ask@pariom.ai if you believe your account has been compromised.

One account per person or entity. You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without authorization.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to process data you do not have authorization to access
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying AI prompts or models
• Use the Service to generate fraudulent or misleading financial documents
• Upload malicious files or attempt to disrupt the Service
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation

4. Subscription and billing

All plans carry a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied within your first 30 days, contact ask@pariom.ai for a full refund — no questions asked. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are displayed on the pricing page and are subject to change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time via your account settings or by emailing ask@pariom.ai. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. After the 30-day guarantee window, no partial refunds are issued.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for non-payment or violation of these Terms.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of all financial data you provide. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.

Raw trial balance data is processed in memory and never stored. Generated memo output is stored to enable memo history, sharing, and the Monday brief feature. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process the financial data you provide — particularly when acting on behalf of clients as a fractional CFO or accounting firm.

6. Automated content

Memo output is generated by large language models (Anthropic Claude). AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Pariom is a drafting and analysis aid — all output should be reviewed by a qualified finance professional before use.

We do not warrant that generated memos are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You assume full responsibility for how you use, share, or act on generated content.

7. Intellectual property

The Pariom software, design, and brand are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.

Generated memos are yours — we claim no ownership over content produced from your data.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

PARIOM IS NOT A LICENSED ACCOUNTING FIRM, FINANCIAL ADVISOR, OR CPA. NOTHING IN THE SERVICE CONSTITUTES FINANCIAL, TAX, OR LEGAL ADVICE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email with at least 14 days notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
